Square Enix's new RPG: The Last Remnant
Square Enix’s new RPG: The Last Remnant
The Bouncer is not really something you want to put on your list of accomplishments.
Few details, but good to know the company’s doing something creative again, aside from sequels and remakes…

(Rumour) Starcraft MMO to be announced on 19 May
(Rumour) Starcraft MMO to be announced on 19 May
No, no, no! Grinding and dungeons and monthly fees are none of the things that made Starcraft great. Ugh.
Blizzard knows where the money is, I guess. If this is true, count me out.

Pidgin 2.0.0 finally released
Pidgin 2.0.0 finally released
Gaim 2.0 was originally announced in October 2005, and the original ETA was the end of that month. Due to legal complications over the name, of all things, it’s been delayed a year and a half. Now it’s finally here, with a new name, a new website and a new look (oi, if you thought the Adium duck was ugly…)
Back when I used Windows, it was the only IM program I could tolerate after the increasing malware-ness of the official clients. If you can live without voice and video (Skype is the only decent way to do that anyway), I recommend it to all Windows users as a cleaner, less annoying way to IM. Whatever IM service you use, Pidgin supports it. Former Gaim users should of course upgrade. Mac users will want to stick with Adium, natch.

Joost gets Turner programming
Joost gets Turner programming
Still very little worth watching on the entire service, IMHO. There were a few music videos I liked; that was about it. Maybe I’ll try Robot Chicken. ATHF isn’t my thing. Maybe I’m just not the target audience.
The Daily Show would be awesome, but it seems like Comedy Central is being too cautious for that.
Oh well. I still have invites, if anyone wants.

Wow… somewhat more biting social commentary than you might expect from Dilbert.
