Nintendo Channel for All - This new channel will let people view game trailers of upcoming Wii and DS games and download demos to the Nintendo DS.
This was promised a while ago. Good to know they haven’t forgotten.
In case you somehow haven’t heard by now, Radiohead’s new album will be released this morning (UK time - it’s already the 10th there). For now it’s download-only, 160kbps MP3s (no DRM), and you can pay any price you wish for it, including £0.00. No strings attached. For real.
I really liked Hail To The Thief (does that mean I’m not a real fan? Unsure on this. Oh well) and I’ve heard a live performance of Videotape and so I’m really looking forward to this.
A special edition vinyl + double CD package will follow in December for £40, with a traditional mass-market CD sometime next year.

A system similar to CAPTCHA, except instead of trying to make sure you’re a human, it tries to make sure you actually read the entry before you comment. Interesting idea.

A very interesting listen, if you liked the original soundtrack. (Just skip the first song.) A lot more varied styles (although somewhat less cohesive) than Chrono Symphonic, which I also recommend.
The Daily Show to get new website, full episodes online
Well! It would be hard for them to do worse than the current website, which is an unnavigable mess of half-broken Flash.
[The new site] will archive the entire video history of the show including headlines, interviews and the “Back in Black” feature.
I would really like to know if that ‘including’ means ‘including, but not limited to’ or ‘we didn’t actually mean it when we said “entire video history” a few words ago’. However:
The portal also will present the previous evening’s episode in its entirety an hour or two after its broadcast.
I will settle for that. Not having the episodes chopped up and randomly rearranged with various parts missing is enough to make me happy. I don’t even mind if there are interstitial ads.
